There’s lots of fun to be had with Wado Kai Central Karate!

WKC Karate has been established for over 35 years. We teach the style of karate known as Wado-Kai which is a blend of traditional Japanese Karate and Jujitsu.

 

WKC Karate are members of the Scottish Karate Federation which is affiliated to the Scottish Karate Governing Body (SKGB). The SKGB is the only recognised Governing Body for Karate in Scotland.

ACTIVE SCHOOL

Wado Kai Central Karate has now passed North Lanarkshire's Active Schools

accreditation scheme. We are now fully approved and supported by North Lanarkshire Council's Active Schools.

CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM

We had the Canadian national team over training with us last
week. This was a fantastic opportunity for our members. CEK also joined us
along with other members of the Scottish karate Federation. This week has shown that no matter where you are in the world karate brings us together and shows we are just one big family!!

Meadowbank Open Championship 2012

 

Well Done team at the Meadowbank Open Championship on Sunday 6th May. It was a massive competition with over 300 entries. 



A Massive well done to Kalis Partidge who took 2nd Place. Kian Burns who also took 2nd place and not missing a competition even though it was her birthday today, Rebekah bonar took 3rd place. 



We are all working hard and attending team pool and going through to other clubs to train and gain experience and it showed here at Meadowbank today. 

We are heading in the right direction!!!! Keep up the hard work!!!
