About us

Wado Kai Central Karate teaches the style of karate known as Wado-Kai which is a blend of traditional Japanese Karate and Jujitsu.

 

Wado Kai Central Karate are members of the Scottish Karate Federation which is affiliated to the Scottish Karate Governing Body (SKGB). The SKGB is the only recognized Governing Body for Karate in Scotland.

 

Wado Kai Central Karate is made up of 2 clubs- Holytown Karate club and Shotts Karate club.

 

At Wado Kai Central Karate we teach Karate in a fun and exciting environment. The class consists of basic techniques, combination techniques, bag work, kata and free sparring. All the games and skills we do teach self discipline as well as develop co-ordination and increase confidence. Wado Kai Central Karate is all about team work and helping each other, we encourage the children to work together and learn about sportsmanship.
